Terrie Creamer, President
Terrie is the immediate past president of the Friends of the Saratoga Libraries and is an advocate for library services. She volunteers at the Friends’ used book store, Book-Go-Round. She is currently President of the Saratoga Monte Sereno Community Foundation. She has served as President of the Saratoga Education Foundation, multiple PTAs, and her chapter of the National Charity League. She is passionate about education, literacy, and community service.
Terrie holds an engineering degree and was an Application Engineering Manager at Hewlett Packard.
Linda Arbaugh, Secretary
Linda was Community Librarian at the Milpitas Library for 13 years and helped with the design of the new building. She retired in 2014 and now works part-time on special projects at the SCCLD Services & Support Center. She has been a member of the Friends of the Milpitas Library for many years and currently serves as its president.
She has a BA in History from Colorado Women’s College, an MA in Librarianship from the University of Denver, and an MA in Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University.
Susan served as County Librarian from 1985 to 2002 and was instrumental in the establishment of the Joint Powers Authority District. She has also served as the president of the Planetree Health Library Board of Directors.
Cheryl received her Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 1993 and began working at Santa Clara County Library District as a substitute librarian. In1995 she became a Children’s Librarian at Cupertino Library and went on to be Children’s Program Librarian at Los Altos Library in 1996. She was selected to be Community Librarian at Los Altos Library in 2001, and transferred in 2008 to Campbell Library where she remained until her retirement in 2013. She is a Campbell resident.
Vicky has been on the board of the Friends of the Morgan Hill Library for many years and served on the former Morgan Hill Library Foundation board. She continues as a regular volunteer at the Friends Bookstore and assists with the library’s weekly drop-in ESL Conversation Club. Her career included leadership in for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Vicky has BA and MBA degrees from Santa Clara University.
Lenelle joined the inaugural Santa Clara Library Foundation Board because she believes the library is an important community resource for learning at all ages. She is currently a board member of the Los Altos Library Endowment (LALE) and has previously served three terms as its president, and volunteers on a weekly basis in the Friends Café. Lenelle has also served on the Los Altos Library Commission and the North County Library Authority.
In addition to her Library activities, Lenelle is a member of the American Marketing Association, and the Phi Beta Kappa Northern California Association. During a 35-year career in Marketing and Communications, Lenelle worked for DuPont, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, New York, and was a Vice President at the D’Arcy-Masius, Benton & Bowles ad agency in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. When she returned to California in 2003, she retired from her company, Smith Communications. Lenelle has a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Missouri and an MBA from New York University.
